North End Committee
Purpose
The North End Committee was formed (circa 2006) in response to concerns raised by Ocean Grove residents about the proposed redevelopment of the area of Ocean Grove known as the North End. The North End Committee tries to minimize the impact of the North End development on the Residents of Ocean Grove where possible.

Committee Objectives
Maintain transparency during the entire North End process whenever possible.
Monitor and Report all North End activity to the members of the Ocean Grove Community Association.
Alert Residents when key activities are taking place and public response is needed.
Current Activities
On Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, OGNED obtained final approval from the Neptune Planning Board for almost the entire North End Redevelopment Project (go to our Bulletin Board to see the handouts made available at that meeting.) Exempt from that approval are the two eastern most of ten houses along Spray Avenue that are incorrectly zoned. OGNED will next need to present a zoning modification proposal for those two houses to the Neptune Township Committee to gain approval for the entire project.
However, with the exception of those two houses, OGNED can now move forward with the North End Project – a project that has been in the making since 2006! To see a brief history of the project Here.
